We have made a number of changes in our new timetable that came into operation on Sunday 9 December 2007 until 17 May 2008. A summary can be seen below.

In summary the main alterations are:
- More London Waterloo to Weymouth/Poole trains
Waterloo to Southampton and Weymouth services revised Monday to Saturday to provide two Waterloo to Weymouth services per hour and one Waterloo to Poole service per hour, by extending existing Waterloo to Poole services to Weymouth and Waterloo to Southampton services to Poole, with some changes to the stations served. Brockenhurst to Wareham services withdrawn and replaced by the above service change. On Sundays, Waterloo to Bournemouth services extended to Poole.
- Romsey to Salisbury via Southampton
Existing Romsey to Totton trains replaced by a new daily Romsey-Eastleigh-Southampton Airport (Parkway)-Southampton Central-Romsey-Salisbury service, providing additional services between Southampton Central and Salisbury, and new links between Eastleigh, Southampton Airport (Parkway) and Salisbury. Romsey to Salisbury via Eastleigh and Southampton Central new timetable can be seen here. It calls all stations every hour with some stopping at Dean and Mottisfont & Dunbridge; operated by two-car Class 158s.
- Reading/Basingstoke to Brighton
Southern, the lead operator between Brighton and Southampton and Littlehampton and Portsmouth, will run extra services to replace our withdrawn Reading/Basingstoke to Brighton service. Also, we will continue to run some peak Basingstoke to Portsmouth services in addition to the regular Waterloo- Eastleigh-Portsmouth service.
- More evening/weekend services
Additional evening services, Monday to Saturday, on Waterloo to Epsom/Reading/ Surbiton/Staines and Windsor services. Additional Sunday services on Waterloo to Reading/Kingston via Richmond lines and extended services on Sunday beyond Epsom to Dorking and Guildford via Bookham.
- Bus link services
A new hourly bus service commences, Monday to Saturday, between Petersfield station and Waterlooville Precinct, serving Horndean and Cowplain. Tickets issued for through journeys from train stations are accepted. The existing dedicated Rail Link buses between Winchester and Romsey will be withdrawn. However, bus services will still run on parallel route X66, which will continue to accept tickets issued for through journeys from train stations, see here to download the bus timetable for Route 66 services. Additional train services will also run between Southampton Central and Romsey.
