In addition to being just plain fun to play, We Love Golf! is full of fan service, and includes Chun Li, Apollo Justice, Jill Valentine, and Arthur as hidden outfits. Click here to check them all out, and hats off to anyone that go 18 holes in a full suit of armor (no word yet on whether getting beaned by a stray shot reduces you to playing in your underwear).
We’ve got some new We Love Golf! screenshots to share with you. The game is definitely looking more and more appealing everytime we get some new screens to look at. Click on the image below to hop on over to our Flickr archive for the shots.
We have uploaded to our Flickr archive a ton of new We Love Golf! and Zack & Wiki screenshots and art, many of which are brand new. Click on the images below to go to the respective collections.
Gaming blog Kotaku managed to catch up to the very busy Hironobu Takeshita, producer of Zack & Wiki and the recently announced We Love Golf!, during the Tokyo Game Show. Takeshita-san lends some insight into interesting topics such as how the name for Zack & Wiki was arrived at, and the fact that he hasn’t actually played any golf!
To start he said that Treasure Island Z was out because they couldn’t secure the international right to the name because of the book. They went through almost two hundred other names before settling on Zak and Wiki.
So Tokyo’s a little far away and you can’t attend in person. While we can’t give you the sweaty nerds and sexy booth babes, we can offer you, as compensation, all the sweet Capcom trailers, screenshots, and other assets we are releasing at this year’s TGS for your consumption, including a brand new Devil May Cry 4 trailer featuring new brand new footage, and screenshots from the recently announced Wii title, We Love Golf!
After you’re all buckled in and ready, scroll down for all the goodies!

Immersive Golfing Experience and Flexible Tee Times Thanks to the Wii Remote™
SAN MATEO, Calif – Sept. 14, 2007 – Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced a partnership with Camelot Software Planning to develop We Love Golf!™ for the Wii™ home video game system. Best known for developing Hot Shots Golf and the Mario Golf series, Camelot has a proven track record of creating entertaining, successful sports video games. This latest title transforms the Wii Remote™ into a virtual set of golf clubs, creating the most immersive golfing experience available off the greens. Capcom plans to release We Love Golf! in North America in 2008.
“Camelot’s pedigree in this genre, coupled with Capcom’s creative expertise, is a virtual hole in one,” said Nique Fajors, vice president, marketing, Capcom Entertainment. “Combining an already great game concept with the exciting innovations possible on the Wii is a winning formula for an amazing experience for gaming and golfing fans.”
We Love Golf! presents a realistic golfing experience with a fresh new spin, incorporating the Wii Remote’s unique motion-sensing functionality. Players will use the controller to choose clubs, line up shots, swing and even add a touch fade or draw with a flick of the wrist. Just as on a real course, gauging wind conditions, correct club selection and careful reading of the greens are all essential for victory. A variety of game modes, multiple characters, and unlockable content will provide endless hours of putting heaven.
