Hi & Welcome to the Lizard Wizard's website
This site was originally conceived in July 2002 with the aim of sharing
our passion for reptiles online through photographs of our collection.
Since then it has grown considerably to provide one of the largest 'original'
reptile photo galleries online whilst also providing care guides written
through our own experiences, some of which have become the main source
of vital care information for certain species.
You will also find a huge list of available Captive-Bred offspring from
the species we currently breed, some of which have never previously been
available as captive bred before in the UK
.
Paul Ritchie has been keeping lizards for over 25 years and successfully
breeding for over 13 years. He and has built up an extensive, but by no
means comprehensive, knowledge through first hand resources and his own
experience of keeping these fascinating animals in captivity.
He has also spent 3 years on the moderating team of the UK's most popular
reptile forum (see below) and has contributed to the US based Reptiles
Magazine and the UK based Reptile Care magazine.
During 2007 we continued to move forward by continuing to achieve breeding
success with new species including Agamura persica, Tarantola chazaliae
and Ptenopus garrulus
For 2008 we will continue to fine tune our keeping and breeding techniques
and hope to add a few new care guides and photographs to the website.
