As a tribute to the 90th Anniversary of the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) New Zealand Post and The Perth Mint have come together and produced a remarkable and exquisite three set coin programme, comprising of Gold, Silver and Aluminium Bronze.

Each set captures a particular aspect of the indomitable ANZAC spirit: remembrance, remembering those who never returned home; camaraderie the mateship that the soldiers shared; and courage the bravery that was shown.

On 25 April 1915, the ANZACs landed at what is now known as Anzac Cove Gallipoli, where they found themselves facing a formidable foe in hostile terrain with an unforgiving climate. Many would die there. Many more would be injured. Yet in the face of extraordinary adversity, these young Australians and New Zealanders found the courage, stamina and humanity to work together in a spirit of trust, courage and friendship.

The collector coins, which are issued as legal tender - but do not circulate, are only available from New Zealand Post's Stamps Business.
