Table notesAlthough the headline ranking figures show changes in the data year to year, the pattern of clustering among the schools is equally significant. Some 170 points separate HEC Paris at the top, from the school ranked number 60. The top 12 business schools, from HEC to Essec Business School, form the top group of schools. The second group is headed by Stockholm School of Economics, which would need to increase its score by four per cent overall in order to enter the top group. The third group is headed by Solvay Business School.
