Sports Information
St. Xavier High School is in the fourth sports season of its program for Student Sports Information Directors (SSID’s), which began in August of 2004. SSID’s maintain athletic websites, interface with media outlets, and write feature articles for St. Xavier publications. The students who are chosen to participate receive many benefits, including the opportunity to be part of a team, electronic journalism experience, technology training, a field trip to a major college sporting event, and the opportunity to earn an athletic letter. The SSID program is a joint project between the Athletic and Public Relations Departments of the school.
