Field Trip to the Natural Museum of Science |
Upper News
|
On November 15 th, Mrs. Armstrongs and Mrs.
Hesters classes went to the Natural Museum of Science in Jackson, Mississippi. They traveled to and from their destination
on a charter bus complete with televisions and a bathroom.
Once in Jackson,
the students met with a naturalist to discuss fossils and dinosaurs. Then the students toured the Museum to learn
about various animals including birds of prey, endangered species, and
reptiles. They completed their museum
tour with a walk along the beautiful nature trail and a trip through the life
size maze.
When the students were asked
about the most amazing part of the trip the majority replied, the two-headed
snake! This wonderful experience will
definitely be remembered! |
