Seoul, S. Korea, Nov 13, 2007 - UNETsystem Inc. – the leader in Network Access Control and Network Behavior Analysis in Korea, today announced three new products that will help facilitate Microsoft Network Access Protection deployment in mixed environments. In addition to the company’s Windows Network Access Protection client, Anyclick for NAP, UNETsystem announced that Linux and Macintosh versions will be released in 2008. These clients will also have an integrated SHA/SHV so that customers do not need to install additional agents to extend security health check capability in Microsoft Network Access Protection infrastructure.

“We’ve heard loud and clear that Linux and Mac customers want to be able to leverage the benefits of Network Access Protection” said Sang-jun Lee, managing director of R&D, UNETsystem. “Linux and Mac users deserve the benefits of Network Access Protection, but have had difficulty obtaining Network Access Protection to date. UNETsystem is very happy to be able to meet this need."

Linux and Mac Network Access Protection clients are scheduled to be released in Q2 and Q3 of 2008 respectively.

Network Access Protection is a policy enforcement technology built into the Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 operating systems that allows customers to better protect network assets from unhealthy computers by ensuring compliance with network health policies. Microsoft Network Access Protection technology is publicly available with trial versions of Windows Vista, and available to select industry partners and customers with Beta 2 of the future version of Windows Server 2008.

“We are pleased UNETsystem is stepping up to meet the need for extending Network Access Protection infrastructure” said Manlio Vecchiet, Microsoft's group product manager, security and access product marketing.“ “UNETsystem’s new products are a welcome addition to the Network Access Protection ecosystem. Anyclick for NAP is a plug-in solution for extending security health check capability in Microsoft Network Access Protection infrastructure. Anyclick for NAP is one of the solutions and checks most of the components regarding to operating environments.”
