The ATP has announced today that Nikolay Davydenko's appeal against his $2000 fine in relation to a code violation for lack of best effort in St Petersburg has been upheld.

Gayle David Bradshaw, ATP Administrator, Rules & Competition said: "Following an extensive review of the match in St Petersburg between Nikolay Davydenko and Marin Cilic, that included a full video analysis, it was decided that Davydenko's appeal should be upheld and the $2000 fine rescinded."
