Those wishing to play golf at Hylands Golf Club are asked to so  inform the Chair, Organizing Committee, by  1st October, 2007, so that the numbers of golfers can be determined and tee times reserved. Registration fees have not been determined but the Committee is working hard to keep them in line with past reunions. The registration package will be distributed with the December 2007 Newsletter.

The Reunion program will be of interest to your family and friends and the Committee suggests you include them in your plans. All will be welcome.

A room block of 50 rooms has been reserved at the Westin Hotel. We used this  hotel  for our Millennium Reunion and were well pleased with the standard of the rooms and service provided.  It is centrally located within easy walking distance of numerous tourist attractions and co-located with a large modern shopping centre (130 stores). It is one block from the ”Byward Market“ which has hundreds of outlets of every kind: restaurants, fashion, boutiques, arts and culture, and nightlife.  The contract rate is $159.00  which is a ”best value“ rate when quality and location are taken into account. Those requiring budget accommodation may wish to stay in student residences at the University of Ottawa. They offer double rooms, shared bath for $70-100 (Tel 613-562-5771).
