  • In 2005, All Japan's junior scene picked up steam with the entrance of Shuji Kondo, "brother" YASSHI, Taiji Ishimori, and the emergence of Katsuhiko Nakajima. So after months of bartering in 2006, Masanobu Fuchi finally agreed for All Japan to hold a 8-man junior round-robin league. The winner would gather the rights to face Junior champion Shuji Kondo at All Japan's big 8/27/06 Sumo Hall show.
