Crews restore power along Business Loop
Electric power to sections of Business Loop 70 west of Garth Avenue was interrupted for about an hour late yesterday morning because of a failed lightning arrester, said Lowell Asbury, who works in electric distribution for the Columbia Water and Light Department.

Air Midwest ordered to maintain service
On Friday, the U.S. Department of Transportation notified Air Midwest, a subsidiary of Mesa Air Group, that it would be required to provide Columbia Regional Airport with its current level of essential air service until the airport finds another carrier.
