Scouting is possible because of you -- the parent, adult, friend, and caring neighbor -- who give of your time and resource to provide this life-skills building program to our youth. But, the only way the program can continue is to ask each parent, family member and friend to consider making a gift to the annual giving program, Friends of Scouting (FOS) presentation at one of your unit meetings.

Council and Easter Seals saddle up for holiday ride
Families with special needs went for a holiday horse ride Saturday, Dec. 29, 1-4 p.m. at Pryor Ranch, 13808 N. 96th Street. An estimated 59 participants enjoyed riding the horses.

Spring is the perfect time to fund your SUMMER CAMP budget. Receive 40% commission when your unit signs up for Spring Sales. This sale can be done two different ways:

  1. Your unit can check out product kits for $100, $200, $300, $400 or Super Spring Sales Kits. Set in front of a business or at your chartered partner once or twice and you've got yourself 40% commission on your sale!
  2. Pick-up sales sheets from the Council Office and take orders for two weeks. Bring your order in, delivery the product, bring in your money and you've got yourself 40% commission on your sale!

Outdoor TV Announces New Scouting Show

ScoutingTVThe Outdoor Channel is currently in production on a Scouting related TV show, Scouting TV. Set to air in the Spring of 2008, this show will highlight Scouts, Scouting values, and of course the fun we have. One of the features will be “Do One Daily” which will focus on a unit as they conduct a service project.
