Life on the road directly told by artists in the midst of touring.

On our way to a show in Michigan, we got caught in a big snowstorm. Matt was driving the van and, at one point, he lost control. Our van did two complete 360's on the highway and the trailer jack-knifed and hit our van. By the time we finally stopped, our van was perpendicular to the median on the highway. Luckily, all the cars and trucks that followed behind us were going slow so they all stopped for us. That was probably the scariest moment of my life and I'm really glad we're all OK.

Did I also mention that Alex slept through the whole thing?

Other than that, this is the most fun on tour we've ever had. Pretty much every date of this tour has been sold out or close to it.

Tomorrow is the biggest show of the tour in Allentown, Penn., at the Crock Rock Cafe. Last time we played there, there were only about 700 people. This time we come back as a headliner and it's sold out two weeks in advance, so we'll be playing to the 1,300 people that can fit in that room.

Mayday Parade drops off the tour in a couple days, very sad to see those guys go. But this new band called Charlotte Sometimes joins up and they'll be riding with us for the last five dates. I don't know them personally, but Spencer from Hidden In Plain View, which was one of my favorite bands growing up, plays drums for them and he's sick, so I'm sure they're great.

Oh yeah, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Ryan Kinley (formely of Matchbook Romance) came out and played "Dammit" with us. Needless to say, it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

As far as crazy tour stories go, we've been getting into a lot of prank wars with everyone. We thought it'd be a good idea to cover Every Avenue's van with cake and icing and Just Surrender's van with shaving cream. That night, after we got off stage, we walked to our van and noticed it was covered in silly string, frozen black bananas, piss, vomit and many other unknown substances (if you don't really get the picture, Google "2 girls fingerpainting"). It made for a smelly drive that night.

Then last night we had a Nerf gun/cake fight in the venue. We all mutually decided to call a truce until we got down to where it's warmer because its just way too cold to be doing pranks.

That's it for now. Stay warm, play safe and play with your balls.
