Wyoming’s Upper Green River Valley -- part of the same ecosystem as Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks -- is a place of spectacular natural beauty with abundant wildlife and recreational opportunities, home to long-standing traditions of ranching, hunting and fishing. It also holds the nation's fastest-growing and most profitable natural gas fields. The drilling, road construction and pollution that accompanies energy development is causing rapid and extreme changes throughout the region, and is having a measurable impact on wildlife and air quality.
