Exodus "Q & A" Ad Campaign

This is part of a new aggressive "Question & Answer" Campaign that is challenging mainstream America to question homosexuality and encouraging the Church to provide the answer. "Question Homosexuality" Ad featuring Alan Chambers

The roller coasters at Kings Island are not the only things causing a stir in Cincinnati this summer. Exodus President Alan Chambers and his wife Leslie appeared in a full-page ad placed today in the Cincinnati Enquirer. The ad is one of 4 that will be featured in various media markets all over the country and is the first ad in what Exodus is calling the Q & A Campaign. "We believe that our culture is being bombarded with scientifically, psychologically and spiritually inaccurate information by the liberal media and political elite," Alan Chambers stated this morning, "Exodus is challenging mainstream America to question homosexuality and encouraging the Church to provide the answer."

In the ad, Alan shares the importance of marriage and the possibility of freedom from homosexuality. He states, "If I had a gay marriage option 10 years ago, I'd never have dealt with the root issues of my homosexual behavior. I'd probably be in and out of half a dozen 'marital' relationships. And I'd never know the complete peace I now have about my past. Leslie is not my diploma for 'healing' nor is she a prop that shows how I've abandoned a sexual identity. She is my perfect complement and completes me in ways no male relationship can ever do...physically or emotionally."

"Question Homosexuality" Ad featuring Randy Thomas

In the ad, Randy shares his story of wanting a relationship with his
absentee father and longing for affirmation. He also candidly shares about
the misuse of trust by multiple men in his late teens. In the ad he states
that "It took an old friend to see past the mask I was wearing, to help me
finally face the doubts and scars I'd been avoiding. He showed me the irony
of how my 'mask' was the very thing keeping me from genuine male intimacy."
Randy defines himself now outside of his sexual identity and has experienced
sexual re-orientation.

"Answer Homosexuality" Ad featuring Randy Thomas

A full-page ad featuring Randy Thomas’ testimony hits newsstands this week in the September/October issue of Strang's premiere men's magazine, New Man. The ad targets Christian men and encourages them to reach out to men struggling with homosexuality by modeling biblical same sex friendship, accountability and transparency.

The ad featuring Thomas is the Answer component of the widely publicized and controversial Q & A Campaign that Exodus boldly launched in the Los Angeles Times on July 23, which featured another ad of Thomas from the Question portion of the successful series. The Answer series is aimed at educating, equipping and encouraging the Church to “answer” the issue of homosexuality redemptively and truthfully.
