IRI exports warfare to 50 countries

Tehran, April 23 - The Islamic Republic of Iran has gained modern technology in defense industry and exports warfare to about 50 countries including members of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Iranian Defence Minister, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani in his second round of talks with Tajiki Defense Minister, Sherali Khayrulloyev stressed that 'we agreed to provide Tjikistan with defense facilities, mounting the country capabilities in repairing military instruments and training the military staff of Tajikistan.

Pointing to strategic and geopolitic situation of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the outskirt of the Middle East and Central Asia, Shamkhani reiterated that the power of the Islamic system is based on the good and historical opportunity of establishin g the Islamic Rebublic with no leaning (tendency) to West or East'.

He termed boosting relations with the Persian Gulf and Central Asian states as very important and underlined that solidarity between regional states brings about stability to the region and prevents extra-territorial forces' presence.
