Technology Square will reinstitute the connection that was severed between Georgia Tech and its Midtown neighborhood with the construction of I-75/85.  The project will bring a special character to the ongoing Midtown renaissance by anchoring its emerging high technology core and creating a primary artery between the Tech campus and the Midtown community across an enhanced Fifth Street bridge.  Technology Square will be an innovative multi-building complex of new facilities, including the College of Management , the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development, the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, and the Global Learning Center.  These facilities will be integrated with each other and with the state of Georgia's Yamacraw Broadband Design Center and Tech's nationally known Advanced Technology Development Center, both a part of Midtown Park adjacent to Technology Square.
