The 2008 Miss SL Universe Pageant
Frolic Mills wrote, produced and directed what can only be described as an awesome spectacle on January19. Beautiful avatars and gowns mixed with high drama, performance art (Yman Juran), and live music (Starr Singer) in this impressive event that was broadcast live by SLCN-TV. It all flowed so smoothly, until there were just two contestants left. That was due to Frolic's directorial skills, though during the show he appeared only as the perfect MC. The choreography flowed so naturally I wouldn't have thought about it if I hadn't attended the final rehearsal and seen him in action there.
But what happened at the penultimate moment, just as the winner was being announced?
Rezzable opens their new Collector's Gallery with an exhibition of works by Light Waves. If you like the master craftsmanship, monumental sculpture, and sense of humor of Starax Statosky and Nomasha Syaka, don't miss this extensive and interestingly designed exhibition.
