Spring Camporee!!
April 16-18, 2004, Venturing Crew 13 went to Spring Camporee at Camp K in Frankton, IN. The members that went were David Sr, Betty, Denaz, David Jr, Maggie, and Amber. The theme was Wilderness Survival. We left at 5:00pm Friday afternoon and arrived at camp at 7:30pm. We camped behind Troop 13. Some of the activities we did included sessions on learning first aid, purifying water, how to make a fire, building shelters, etc; putting the sessions to good use (i.e. - go to creek, get water and purify it properly); tracking skills, and hiking. All in all, it was fun! |

On Friday, May 14, 2004, Venturing Crew 13 is going roller skating at Roller Cave, located on 21st Street, just before you get to Post Rd. Cost is ( if you don't need skates). Open to the public. Email dizzyd247@yahoo.com if you want to join us for this event! |
WELCOME TO VENTURING CREW 13!
Join our meetings every Friday Night at 7:00 pm at 2327 East 10th United Methodist Church. A venturing crew is a group of individuals ages 14 to 20, who love to hang out in the outdoors and learn a lot of cool stuff. These individuals also learn values, leadership, and skills to survive in the great outdoors while having fun in the process.
