Colin Calderwood was relieved that his side have finally put an end to their run of poor away results, with a win at Leyton Orient.

He told us: "It is a rewarding day and a huge relief, the players showed commitment right to the end of the game, it is a big result for us and stops an untidy run.

"It was a solid, hardworking display, we controlled the game and were not in much danger throughout the game.

"We knew we had to take three points from today's game, it is a huge result."

With Forest having a mini break before facing promotion rivals Carlisle a week on Monday he added: "It becomes a level playing field and today's result keeps Carlisle on our tails, it is going to be a huge game and we are in a positive frame of mind for it."

Calderwood threw some doubt over whether Will Hoskins would play a further part in Forest's season, indicating that he might have to return to Watford to continue treatment for his back problem, adding: "We need to try to find a way to get him back as quickly as possible but at the moment we don't see any way forward and it is disappointing for him and us."

Asked about bringing in another player he said: "We have a deadline towards the end of March and will address that then. With so many games coming up we might need a body so with that in mind we might continue looking, but we don't want to disrupt the harmony we have at the moment."
