Rapier of Necros
Description
A huge, 7" high two-handed rapier made of a strange black metal embedded with skeletal heads.
Properties
- Very Fine (+2 damage), +1 additional damage (I think).
- Reverse Vampiric effect - when the sword penetrates armor, the user can decide to
sacrifice some of his HP to inflict additional damage. Ratio is 1:1, except that the
damage added is of the same type as the damage done by the sword (cutting or impaling),
and thus is multiplied by 1.5 or 2.
- Unbreakable.
- Reach 3 while thrusting, 2 while swinging. Has a sharp point, so thrusting does impaling
damage.
- The wearer must accept to do some jobs for Necros from time to time.

Description
A set of 6 ornamented arrows.
Properties
Any dispellable item hit by an arrow is immediately dispelled. Each arrow is one hit only.
If the object or creature in question is of Divine origin, the dispelling is only
temporary.

Description

Scroll of Su
Description
A typical magical scroll that provides the reader and his entourage with a one-time powerful
shield that can also go through powerful protections. Can only be used by a magic- user.
Properties
- Modified version of a level 20 Pentagram spell that moves with the reader.
- 2 yards area effect.
- One-time use.
- Costs one fatigue per minute to the reader. Is active as long as the reader pays
the fatigue cost. Afterward, it is consumed and disappears.

Spirit Knives
Description
Spirit knives are long knives also usable as shortswords. Made in part from the spirit of their wielders, they are considered part of them.
Properties
- When not held, the Spirit Knives are kept into another pocket dimension. A Ready maneuver
or a Fast-Draw summons them in our hands.
- Very Fine long knives (+2 damage), almost unbreakable.
- Armor Divisor (2).
- Fully affects ghosts and spirits.
- Can be used to cut yourself out of some dimensions and return to your own.

Description
Paut is a silver magical liquid made of the essence of magic.
Properties
Paut instantly gives back fatigue points to the drinker. Additionally, it can be drank
in advance to cast a much bigger spell than possible normally.

Description
The book-gate is a false book that, when manipulated by someone with divine powers, unfolds

Description
A beautiful thread of red and gold silk, untouched by its great age.
Properties
Affixed to a weapon like any ornamental tassel, this cosmic artifact empowers
the weapon to inflict +3 damage on demons! Once tied to a weapon, it must remain
there until the weapon decays or is destroyed. It is itself indestructible.

Description
A ruby amulet carved in the shape of a stylized salamander and imbued with permanent
alchemical power.

Helm of Su
Description
An intricately worked full-face helmet of impossibly hard, light black metal.
Resembles a grotesque demon visage with horns and bared teeth. Ruby lenses
protect the eyes.
Properties
Gives +1 on all rolls concerned with resisting demonic abilities or influencing
demons. DR 6; DB 1 (yes, this means that the wearer has a force field around him
that works a lot like the Shield spell). The rubies allow normal vision, but make
the eyes gleam and give everything a rosy cast, giving -1 to rolls where color
matters (Artist, Tracking, etc.).

Gem of Power
Description
An oddly carved stone radiating some of the strongest magic that we've encountered yet.
Properties
A reservoir of magical energy, holding 10 Fatigue Points for a wizard to use for
spellcasting. Once emptied, it slowly recharges on its own -- although there are some
rumors of rituals that can recharge it more quickly. Negligible weight.

Description
A beautiful golden short sword made from mixing a Sword of Su and a Golden
Spear of the Sun.

The Great Tome of Power
Description
The Great Tome of Power is possibly the greatest depot of magical knowledge
in the world. It consists of a set of scrolls written in a forgotten
language in used 1000 years ago, kept together by two stone tablets.
According to many sources (including the Six Inquisitors and the Serpent
Queen), it contains the complete description of a ritual designed to open
the gates of magic (and the gates of chaos).
Properties
The Tome of Power is NOT a book at all, but more of a big scroll , i.e. it is
magical in nature and can only be used once. Contrary to a scroll, the magic
it contains seems to be generic and usable for more than one thing.
Original Location Found
For the last hundreds of years, it was kept in an unused section of the
Imperial Library in Kapital, guarded by a fire-breathing demon wolf and
some undeads. Our little group procured it just before the Zhasev
festival in the year 1000 (see chapters
18 and 19).

Destroyed when the ritual was performed by Ruinas in chapter 91.

Tablet of Elder Stone
Description
One of the four Elemental Artifacts. The Tablet of Elder Stone is a medium-sized
stone tablets of un-noteworthy appearance. It is 1/3rd the lenght, and the same
width, as an altar stone.
Properties
Unknown.
Original Location Found
In the most Holy Temple in Teclá, where it was acting as one third of an altar
stone.

After the performing of the ritual by Ruinas, was given back to the Earth
Elementals near Kapital.

Heart of Ice
Description
One of the four Elemental Artifacts. A small blue water sphere constantly
surrounded by water flames.
Properties
When someone concentrates on it, it will call on a storm that will grow with time.
Water will come out of the wielder's orifices in astronomical quantity. He will then
slowly start rotating on himself, then gradually gain speed.
Using this artifact is really dangerous because not only will the wielder attract
lightning on him, but the flowing of water out of his body causes important damage
over time. The process is not suffocating, however, but no speech is possible.

In a cave on the Island At The End Of The World, guarded by a 150 feet long water
snake.

After the performing of the ritual by Ruinas, Kherim Khan gave it to the Water
Elementals in exchange for the Vortex of Thunder.

Description

Eternal Flame
Description
One of the four Elemental Artifacts. A small flame that burns without being hot to
the touch, and can be handled like a material object.
Properties
Unknown.
Original Location Found
The Amazon dimension, where it served as the sun. This dimension was available through
a drowned city in the island at the south-east extremity of the world.
Current Location / Owner
After taking control of Tenosia, Queen Hyppolite gave it back to the Fire Elementals to
thank them for their help.

Swords of Su
Description
A set of six black shortswords of fine quality reputed to be able to cut through armor.
They were part of the 114 artifacts made for Su.
Properties
- +2 to damage
- When killing someone, part of the wielder's wounds are healed. Problem is, the
energy used for this is taken directly from the dimension of Mad Things, thus slowly
transforming the wielder into a demon. Eventually, the wielder is not capable to live
without the sword. Killing a demon with those weapons is even worse, as the demonic
energy transferred to the wielder is ten times more important.
Original Location Found
The Temple of Su in Mahash, used to create mindless guardians. Given to us as a gift by
the Six Inquisitors, who (probably) didn't know about their properties.

All were destroyed by Kaeso when he fought the Guardian.

Magical Shortsword "Bane of Demon"
Description
Incredibly sharp bronze shortsword lined with silver. Made even more powerful with
the addition of the Tassels of Su.

Made when Leif put the badge he won by killing the demon in the Circus of Death on
Mushamee's already magical shortsword. Completed by adding the Tassels of Su.

Blood Wand
Description
A product of the Age of Blood and Iron, the Blood Wand is a small red wand, approximately
one foot long.
Properties
Allows a mage to burn more energy on a spell by spending hit points at a ratio of 1:1,
without incurring any penalty to skill level. According to the Serpent Queen, this is
simply a tool and there is no side-effects to its use (unlike the Swords of Su).
Embedded as it is now in Vinz's body, the wand has acquired new functionalities. Now,
if ever Vinz misses a spell roll because of some penalty, the wand will automatically
sacrifices enough of his hit points to make the spell succeed, at a ratio of two HP
for +1 to spell. For example, say Vinz has Lockmaster at 13 and wants to unlock a
door, and the lock is so complex it entails a -5 penalty to the spell. He rolls 11.
Having missed by 3 because of the penalty, the wand would sacrifice six of his
hit points for a +3 bonus, thus succeeding by 5 and unlocking the door. If Vinz had
rolled 8 or less, no sacrifice would need to take place. If he had rolled more than
his base skill level, i.e. 14 or more, the spell would simply fail, with no sacrifice
taking place. The sacrifice is automatic and happens whether Vinz wants it or not.
Addendum: in fact, the Blood Wand will only ever activates if the drain of Vinz's
HP has an actual chance of killing him. Otherwise, it will not activate.

Found by Recnam's two zombies in a river on the Island At The End Of The World.
