Art of Problem Solving - Contains the largest online community of problem solving in the world.  The message board contains nearly 90,000 posts and has almost 4000 registered users.  The site also contains many resources, such as an online school, free classes, many articles and more.

Saab.org - Preparation drills for MATHCOUNTS. The site contains more than 500 problems and solutions are provided, after submitting answers to groups of math problems.

Sloan Career Cornerstone Center - The Sloan Career Cornerstone Center is a non-profit resource center for those exploring career paths in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

We All Use Math Every Day - Texas Instruments (TI) is leading this math education initiative based on the hit series "NUMB3RS." In partnership with CBS, and working in association with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), TI has created an educational outreach program promoting the many uses of mathematics and supporting math teaching. The program includes TI and NCTM-developed math education activities for teachers and students based on the "NUMB3RS" TV show. The activities will be based on the mathematics presented in each episode.

American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) provides information on these competitions:

American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) - Teams of 15 high school students compete at three college campuses.

Mandelbrot Competition - for high school students

Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools

Math League - Math contests for Grades 4 through 8, High School and Algebra 1 students.

mathleague.org - Looking for additional practice competitions to help prepare for the MATHCOUNTS competition? Mathleague.org provides junior high contests structured in such a way that students will find the tests good preparation for the MATHCOUNTS chapter and state competitions.

NEMO - Math contest in North Carolina designed by former Mathletes and run entirely by high school students.

USA Mathematical Talent Search (USAMTS)  - The USAMTS is a national high school contest now entering its 16th year (middle school students may also participate).  The contest is funded by the NSA and AoPS Incorporated, so it is free to all participants and is by far the largest full-response competition in the world.  The contest involves students writing full solutions to 5 problems 4 times a year.  Their work is then reviewed by professional mathematicians and graduate students.

AwesomeMath - AwesomeMath is a three-week intensive summer program for students in grades 7-11. It focuses on improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills, and prepares them for success at the Olympiad level.

The Center for Talented Youth - Established at The Johns Hopkins University in 1979, CTY is a comprehensive, university-based initiative that promotes the academic ability of children and youth throughout the world.

Destination ImagiNation - Challenges serve as the basis for this team-based creative problem-solving program. Tournaments are held nationwide and internationally for all age groups.

Discover Engineering - Learn about the engineering profession and the amazing things these individuals are doing.

Dream It Do It - Wonder what type of careers you might enjoy? Visit this web site and take the Dream Career Quiz, read career profiles, watch videos, find schools to help your prepare for success and more.

Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY) - Computer-based mathematics, physics, and writing courses offered to bright 5 to 18 year olds through Stanford's Continuing Studies Program. Students take courses on personal computers at their home or at their school with regular contact with Stanford instructors.

International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) -  Sponsored by Intel, the International Science and Engineering Fair is the world’s largest science competition for high school-aged students. The event is held in May.

Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) - Offers opportunities for high school students including: Tests of Engineering Aptitudes, Mathematics & Science (TEAMS), National Engineering Design Challenge and National Engineering Aptitude Search.

Mathcamp - An intensive five-week-long summer program for mathematically talented 13- to 18-year-olds from around the world.

Mathematical Reflections - Mathematical Reflections is a free online journal focused primarily on problem-solving. It contains enlightening articles as well as a rich problem column, and offers several opportunities for student publication.

MathPath - Four-week residential summer program for middle school students showing high promise in mathematics. Online mathematics learning resource for middle school students who love mathematics.

National Science and Technology Week

Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS) - Six-week summer program at Boston University designed to encourage ambitious high school students to explore the creative world of mathematics.

Solve It - A mathematics problem solving program for grades 4 - 8, offered through the mail by the University of Delaware.

Ross Young Scholars Program - Eight-week summer program at Ohio State University where students ages 13-18 are immersed in a world of mathematical discovery.

Talent Identification Program (TIP) - Based at Duke University, includes Talent Search program, which focuses on the identification and support of high-ability seventh graders.

Technology Student Association (TSA) - A national organization for elementary, middle school and high school students who are presently enrolled in or have completed a technology education program.

Alumni Programs at Universities

MATHCOUNTS Outreach; a Yale Undergraduate Organization - Founded by alumni attending Yale, this organization aims to start and develop MATHCOUNTS programs in New Haven public middle schools.
