The problem doesnt lie with the police but the courts. Police can arrest suspect after suspect but unless the courts are going to punish them things will continue to worsen.

If we were not living in a dictatorship, we could have a referendum on bringing back capital punishment.

Please , do not blame the police. They do all they can. Ask , why are knives and guns so free on our streets. The ? is where do they come from.

I agree, you can't blame the police, their hands are tied, they aren't allowed to do anything these days. What is happening to this country, no wonder so many people are moving abroad. It will be a country full of asylum seekers soon.

Praise Croydon Police who allowed knife man Mark Dixie to violently rob a woman with knife in waistband. Hang around streets for hour or two then stabs to death and rape someone else. Which officers should be commended for this?

The violence this country is now experiencing is terrifying. Can things possibly get any worse?
Everyday, I read of or hear about a violent assault or murder. There seems to be few detterents.
I would love to start a family, but the thought of bringing a child into such a harsh world, where in 20 years time he or she could be taken from me through some violent incident, fills me with dread and sadness.
The most disturbing factor nowadays, is that seemingly normal men, who are described by their friends and families as the life and soul" have underlying evil, sinister thoughts and intentions.
I just cannot understand what is happening to society. Perhaps it's the Internet, certain images seen there may be giving people an unrealistic outlook on life. It has to end somewhere, but what are the solutions?
