Attend the Tale of Johnny Depp
Page Six told last week how Johnny Depp (pictured, with Tim Burton), who is in the middle of filming Burton's hugely-anticipated adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd" in London with Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett, Alan Rickman as Judge Turpin and Sacha Baron Cohen as Signor Pirelli, was forced to leave the set because of his daughter's health crisis. This week in London, The Sun says the film is actually on hold and laying off staff until things clear up for the Depps.Posted by Kyle Smith on March 15, 2007 01:03 PM

I have long admired this man for the brilliant manner in which he performs his craft, and for the courage of his convictions. That he places his family above all else has sealed my admiration and profound respect. At the end of our journey in life, it is ultimately family that marks our paths and builds the bridge. Bravo to Mr. Depp; he gets it.
