The Hottest Movie in New York!
Okay, not really, but maybe "Barry Lyndon" will beat "Georgia Rule" at the Manhattan box office! I hiked over to Lincoln Center tonight only to find that Stanley Kubrick's gorgeous and haunting 1975 masterpiece was totally sold out, in the sense that dozens of ticketless and bedraggled hangers-on were in full-mope, brother-can-you-spare-a-ticket mode. I scored a deuce for for tomorrow instead. The movie is playing at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater through Tuesday. Do not miss it. I won't.Posted by Kyle Smith on May 27, 2007 09:30 PM
