Southern rap legend Bun B of UGK will release his second solo album, II Trill, on April 29 and he'll be criss-crossing the country for a national tour which starts today.

The record serves as the follow-up to his 2005 debut, Trill, which nabbed the No. 1 spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The disc features guest spots from the late Pimp C, Lupe Fiasco, Lil' Wayne, 8Ball and MJG, David Banner, Rick Ross, Z-Ro, Mya, Mike Jones, Junior Reid, Webbie, Chamillionaire, Expensive Taste (Paul Wall, Skinhead Rob, & Travis Barker) and Slim Thug. Producers include Scott Storch, Jazze Pha, Clinton Sparks and JR Rotem, among others.

Bun's lead single will be "That's Gangsta" featuring pop-reggae sensation Sean Kingston and produced by Rotem.

In December Bun B faced the death of Pimp C, his close friend and partner in rhyme, due to complications from sleep apnea as well as an accidental overdose of prescipription-strength codeine, one of the main ingredients found in the popular illegal beverage "Sizzurp." In the wake of Pimp C's death, Bun B said he would likely ban the syrup talk on his new CD.

"My new album of course probably won't have any references to cough syrup in it," he said.

Bun B is currently on a tour to promote his forthcoming record and will be making stops at several Boys & Girls Clubs while on the road. He has also partnered with Microsoft Zune to bring fans closer to his circle.
