Gayle was born and raised in Prince Albert & grew up watching her mother, Helen Finney, who always made time to paint in one medium or another. She always loved to draw but did not try her hand at painting until five years ago. She then became hooked on transparent watercolour with its delicacy and softness. She prefers painting from real life, especially flowers and butterflies which she has collected.
Gayle's paintings reflect a life long love of birds, butterflies and flowers.
Many of her paintings are an attempt at capturing the serenity of summers spent on the lake at Lac La Ronge.
Also, you'll be sure to enjoy the paintings on Gayle's "Kenya Years".

The band pokes affectionate fun at themselves and the world around them while spreading their own irreverent brand of small town angst. The Dust Poets are well known for their infectious spirit, powereful stage presence, genre-bending originals, hot instrumental chops, and juicy harmony singing. The musically restless Dust Poets create arrangements that wander easily among different styles, including folk, bluegrass, swing, pop, and circus freak ragtime. The band's all-acoustic line up features guitar, upright bass, accordion, mandolin, clarinet, and persussion, plus extraordinary four part vocal harmonies. The Dust Poets continue to earn fans and attract international attention with great music, a great sense of humour and great performances, every time they take the stage.
