SHOT: Goo Goo Dolls Live Perf - MikeyP, director

The Goo Goo Dolls performed their new album Let Love In in its entirety, plus their greatest hits, for a planned DVD release. The five camera HD shoot took place at the legendary Capitol Studios with director MikeyP through Almost Midnight Productions.

Description: The watercolor style paintings found on Jack's Mannquin's website and the album Everything In Transit comes to dizzying life in this video. Constantly evolving backgrounds shift from a pastoral country setting to a cluttered forest and then on to a city and even outer space. Treated shots of JM frontman Andrew McMahon are layered over the animation. Although McMahon is also the band leader of Something Corporate, this new project disposes of the punk rock sheen in favor of an emo singer-songwriter vein.
