BuddyTV's goal is to bring entertainment and content closer to fans. We do this by building
communities around popular TV shows and movies. Fans are able to learn more about their favorite shows
through interviews, news features, and by connecting with other fans. BuddyTV is one of the largest
entertainment destination sites on the web today.
Buddy Tokens are earned just by doing things on BuddyTV. Be sure to
log in, and Tokens are
automatically deposited every time you participate (by reading articles or playing games),
contribute (by creating showdowns or adding comments) or connect (by adding friends or

Use Buddy Tokens to send gifts to friends or fellow fans that appear on their profile page.
Show them how much you appreciate an interesting comment, or a fun Showdown they created,
or even just to brighten their day.
You can also use Buddy Tokens to bid on items that appear in our
auctions.
Buddy Bucks can be used to send extra special gifts. Some people deserve a little more appreciation,
and Buddy Bucks help you show it.
Buddy Bucks can be purchased at the BuddyTV Gift store.
Your Level is determined by the number of Lifetime Buddy Tokens you've earned since you joined BuddyTV.

Don't worry, your Lifetime Tokens and Level will only go up, never down. So even when you spend Buddy Tokens
you will still keep increasing your Lifetime Tokens.
Earn Awards by completing special actions on BuddyTV, like correctly answering
three trivia questions in a row. Your awards will appear on your profile in your
display case for everyone to see, so get moving to show what you can do. See a

To send a gift to someone on BuddyTV, click on their profile picture and then click
on the "Send a Gift" button. This will open up the store so you can pick a gift to
send them.
You can also send a gift to someone by going to their profile page and clicking on the "Send
a Gift" button on their display case.
Finally, you can send a gift by going to the BuddyTV Gift Store, finding a gift you
like, and then picking a friend to receive it.
BuddyTV auctions typically begin on Mondays with a starting bid of either 5,000 Buddy Tokens for weekly auctions
(lasting one week) or 10,000 Buddy Tokens for Bi-Weekly auctions (lasting two weeks). You are only allowed to
bid as many Buddy Tokens as you have in your account. Once you place a bid, that number of Buddy Tokens will automatically
be deducted from your account to prevent you from spending them elsewhere. If you are out bid, your Tokens will
automatically be returned to your account.
If you win the auction, you will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you have on file with instructions on how to
claim your prize. BuddyTV will mail prizes to any legitimate domestic or international address.
By creating your own profile, your personalized homepage will display news and content related to your favorite shows.
You can also meet new friends who love the same shows and actors as you. You will need to create a profile in order
to comment and to participate in activities such as showdowns, creating graffiti, rating shows or actors, playing games
and more. Your username and password will be the same for the BuddyTV forum as well.
Creating a profile is easy. First, you'll need to register for BuddyTV. Once you have registered, you can hover over your username in the top right corner
and click "Edit" to add your favorite TV shows, change your profile picture, set your email preferences, and more.
You edit your profile by clicking on
Edit profile link under your username in the
top right corner of your screen after you log in, or from the orange "Edit Profile" button on your profile. You can change
your username or profile image, change your password and update your e-mail preferences. You can also edit your friends list
and favorite shows and actors.
BuddyTV can help. Click on the
Recover Your Password link and then enter your BuddyTV ID.
An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you signed up with.
Every e-mail BuddyTV sends has an "Unsubscribe" link on the bottom so you can unsubscribe from our mailings at any time. However,
the best way to ensure you only get what you want is to edit your e-mail preferences by clicking on the "
Edit Profile" button on your profile page. You can choose which e-mail notifications
you would like to receive and which you do not want.
BuddyTV has a strict no-harassment policy. If any user is harassing others or posting inappropriate comments, please e-mail us
at
support@buddytv.com. You can also flag individual comments by clicking on
the "Report" link at the top of each comment.
BuddyTV has public Fantasy TV leagues that are open to all users as well as user-created private leagues that are invitation-based.
Each week, you can pick three candidates you think will be eliminated on the upcoming episode. If any of your picks gets eliminated,
you will be rewarded points. You have up until noon (12pm) Pacific Standard Time the day the episode airs to submit your picks.
Play Fantasy TV »
Anyone can set up a private Fantasy TV league and play with their friends. You will need the League ID number and password (set up
by the league owner) in order to join a private league. If you were invited to a private league, the ID and password should have been sent
to your BuddyTV inbox as well as e-mail. If you lost the information, you should contact the league owner to send you another invitation.
Public leagues are open to all BuddyTV users, and do not require a password to join.
You can rate any TV show or Movie in our system with our
Rate or Hate Shows or you can rate
celebrities with our
Rate or Hate Celebs. On both rating systems, you can assign
negative or positive points ranging from -10 to +10. All users start out with -3 through +3, and you will need to invite friends or
rate more shows to unlock higher rating points.
