During my lifetime, I've seen these "War On -----" wars come and go...well, maybe just come. They don't seem to go away. War on poverty: still here in the form of welfare, etc., with more Americans in poverty than ever. War on drugs: still sucking up millions too, after decades, but we have more illegal drugs than ever. I'm sure the war on terror will go on forever, for so many reasons. The bureaucracy is in place, and bureaucracies fight to remain in existence. It's a great tool for politicians. It's self-perpetuating because it creates more terrorists. Etc. The thing about these "War On (blanks)" is THEY ARE NOT ACTUAL WARS. They are catch-phrases created by politicians, clever phrases that no-one can argue with. After all, who is FOR poverty? I am sending this important email in the hope of raising awareness to promote reason, justice and love for all people and the Earth rather than the obsession of power and the world of things. I do not wish to instill fear, but rather to guide you in some small way toward world peace. I am an activist and I have before me a debacle. I came across a text by the sacred Hopi called Hotevilla by Thomas Mails and Dan Evehema. The Hopi are very spiritually advanced, and they know their chakras just as the yogis of India do, as I understand it. Their traditional elders are adept at prophesy, and they have prophesied a day called Purification Day when a 'red army covers the Earth like red ants', a reference to WWIII. Early last century the Hopi prophesied WWI and II before they occurred and brought this to the US government. They were ignored and WWI shortly ensued. The book is cloaked in symbol. Most of the book describes how the Hopi have been exploited by the US military/industrial/church complex, and the subtitle of the book is 'microcosm of the world'. The Hopi are saying that not only have they been exploited, but all developing world people have been similarly exploited, leading us into WWIII by demanding a reprisal from the developing world. What are some examples of developing world exploitation? You get snippets of it in the papers, but I have made a study of it. Most populations have experienced some, if not all, of the following as a result of US businesses, politicians and churches: * overt/covert/proxy war * arms and drug running * a history of US support of military dictatorships * wage slavery * creation of client states (a form of international economic dependency that keeps developing world nations poor) * control of world markets via the WTO * control of mineral resources worldwide * environmental chaos including global warming, pesticides, and loose factory controls poisoning the water, air and land * removal of native people from their land * brainwashing through the churches that wipes out ancient wisdom We are in the middle of a subtle but severe crisis worldwide, and it seems that if we don't correct our actions in business and politics and via the churches we will see Purification Day or WWIII. The Iraq war for oil is an example, and perhaps the last straw, of US hegemonic hold on the world's oil resources at a time of peaking and declining oil supplies. The developing world needs this oil more than we do, and may be willing to fight for it. China, Latin American socialist nations and Muslim nations would all like to see an end to our exploitation and oppression (as would many native populations worldwide). The Iran issue isn't helping matters. Furthermore, we should be pursuing renewable energy sources for environmental and peaceful reasons anyway, to make ourselves independent from global war for resources. Why aren't we investing in solar and wind power, and bringing up old and new answers in physics like Tesla engineering and harnessing the energy of tides, as well as learning from the advances of Europe and other developed countries? The Hopi have a creed, to protect land and life. This creed is analogous to our political Left's protection of environmental and human rights. Imagine what the world would look like if we took the time in business, politics and church to act for the benefit of all people worldwide as they would like to be helped (as we affect those people and their future generations), in closer and closer harmony with nature. By 2013, the end of the Hopi calendar, we should see a new time of global curiosity and commonwealth worldwide that is unprecedented. World peace and prosperity is the hope for most worldwide. Why don't we avoid WWIII now, and aim at the goal of protecting land and life, which is our inevitable conclusion? The Hopi are a holy people and do not wish to see WWIII, which is why they made the prophesy public. Kenya Middle Eastern Nations/middle/Middle East I am not sure about the Kikuyu as they are located at the second highest peak in Africa, but I found this information when Googling Hopi research years ago. The point is that if you know who the holy are, you can ask them how to get out of the mess we are in, and on to a hopeful world peace. I think the traditional elders of the Hopi would be grateful to talk with the American leadership about a better policy for the nation's domestic and foreign policy regarding the protection of land and life, for example... and this would be a healthy change for us all. I think this area deserves research and commitment for the world's leadership for a wise and peaceful world future. I would like to add my own point. In certain areas of our global economy a planned economy is in order. Agriculture, transportation, education, housing, clothing, communication should all be free and should foster the ancient and local wisdom of these trades worldwide. For example, in agriculture it would be crazy to grow only soy beans worldwide, but it would be wise to support the growth of native beans and the trade of native beans worldwide. The local and global planned economies can feed of off each other in a dance that can be of great benefit for all people and for the growth of the ecology of the Earth. Capitalism is as old as the coin. It is not likely to leave us and it clearly has lucrative qualities. My only qualm with capitalism is that it is conducted in conditions that poison the environment and enslave or set to war the people. Capitalism should always make life better, start to finish, not make life worse; and that includes the environment. I feel that any chemical that is toxic should not be taken out of the lab, and any economic model that enslaves or causes war should not leave the boardroom or classroom. These are barbaric practices. Capitalism is fine, but it needs to be capped and we need to get used to living in a wonderful environment, not harnessing it. Your article on the Rotenberg Center didn't surprise me at all. It reminded me of my horrific experience at the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic. The clinic didn't use electric shocks. It was plain, old-fashioned child abuse for us. This is what happens when psychiatrists and psychologists are allowed to run schools. Psychiatrists have been abusing patients and calling it "therapy" for ages. I've never understood why society will allow psychiatrists and psychologists to commit absolutely any form of abuse, no matter how sadistic, as long as they pretend that what they're doing is therapy. The public must understand that abuse is not therapy:it's abuse, pure and simple. No one ever benefits from being abused. Abuse must never be allowed under any circumstances, for any reason, period. The only way to stop this kind of child abuse is to get the psychiatrists and psychologists out of the schools. Child psychiatry is itself a form of abuse and should be abolished.

Hope that all the mothers of males who have been inprisoned for underage sex have the courage to stand up for your child. Only if the sex was consentual. Because I know I am standing up for mine. It's not certain that any of the efforts by the Clinton fund-raisers will get off the ground. Campaign-finance law makes it difficult for campaign insiders to fund independent efforts to elect candidates. "We're just trying to figure out things to do to help," Ms. Buell said. "We all feel very passionate about it, so the question is, what is the best thing we can do to get her across the finish line?" The ads would run in at least some of the big coming primary states, such as Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania. This person says he feels he has done all he can for the campaign from the inside. He has donated the maximum $2,300 allowed by law for the primary to Mrs. Clinton, and he has tapped out his fund-raising network. He says Mrs. Clinton must win in Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania to secure the nomination, but he worries that her campaign will not be able to afford to fund the ads she will need. So far in the 2008 campaign, outside groups have spent $5.2 million on behalf of Mrs. Clinton and $1.5 million for Mr. Obama, according to disclosure statements filed with the Federal Election Commission. A family member gave me a Mother Jones subscription for Christmas “to help enlighten me.” The first one arrived a couple of days ago – the March + April 2008 issue. I have read most of the articles and will reserve judgment until I have read several more issues, but this first was not a confidence builder. The website advertises the magazine as “the forerunner of well-researched” views. The most glaring poor showing in this regard is Daniel Pepper’s “chasing darfur’s guns.” For example on pages 21 and 22 he writes, “The Glock caught my eye. During my three trips to Darfur and time spent with other armed groups in the Middle East and Africa, I had never seen such a spotless, unworn weapon. I picked it up, considered its cold, clean lines, turned the black metal and plastic over in my sweaty hand, cocked and uncocked it, and set it down.” With work experience in Homeland Security around ports and rails, carrying handguns and enough ammunition to fight a small war, I can say with confidence he did no such thing. How can a person have confidence in at least this article knowing that the author makes statements that cannot be true?
