How do I apply to American Founders University?
Prospective students apply online at www.americanfoundersuniversity.com/membership/admissions.aspx. The admission process consists of three sequential steps: Step 1: Provide Student Information Step 2: Pay the $99 Non-Refundable Application Fee Step 3: Complete the Online Application Form If a prospective student wants to attend a live workshop but does not desire to participate in any full curriculum offered through an online class, an Enrollment Advisor may assist him or her. When is the application deadline?
Each prospective student has 30 days to complete the application from the day they begin applying online. Prospective students who do not acceptably complete the necessary admission process within 30 days of beginning the process are DENIED admission. In this case, the Pending Applicant receives a letter indicating the reasons for DENIAL. This letter invites Pending Applicants to contact an Enrollment Advisor to reapply, if desired.      Back to top
What are the admission criteria?
It is AFU policy to ensure the Applicant understands final and formal acceptance is decided upon, confirmed and communicated by a Student Advisor within three weeks following the completion of the admission process. All student applications are given due consideration. We admit persons without regard to gender, race, creed, religion, national origin, age or disability who: 1) are members of a local Producer Revolution™ Forum 2) agree to required Student Commitments 3) are otherwise qualified based upon available space 5) complete the three-step admission process in its entirety 6) complete the three-step admission process with SINCERITY. AFU’s admission committee reviews each application and ensures it has been completed with sincerity on the part of the Applicant. If, in the judgment of the admission committee, the Applicant has not sincerely answered the application questions and provided the required data, admission will be denied. The University may choose to contact the Applicant to notify him or her of the difficulty and suggest reapplying for admission. Other standards for admission to the University may be in effect or changed from time to time. Individuals with disabilities who may require special consideration should contact the University directly.      Back to top
Can I temporarily defer my enrollment?
Admitted and current students who encounter personal circumstances precluding their participation at AFU may be eligible to defer enrollment until the time such circumstances can be resolved. Please contact a Student Advisor for more information. Students who interrupt their studies for more than 90 days may be asked to reapply.     Back to top

How much does each program cost?
AFU has flexible offerings for students desiring different levels of participation. Each program or course advertised by AFU has a separate credit assignment as well as a separate tuition cost. Are there opportunities to receive financial aid?
Scholarships American Founders University occasionally offers merit-based scholarships to individual candidates who have completed their freshman term of The Fundamentals of Wealth program. Scholarships can be partial or full awards. Students who believe they have a merit based qualification or a personal attribute worthy of consideration for an AFU Merit Scholarship are invited to ask their Student Advisor for a scholarship application form. Financial Aid For AFU Applicants concerned about their ability to cover the full tuition of any course or program within the University, the University occasionally structures a financial aid package consisting of loans or payment plans. A financial aid package makes it possible for any Applicant to enroll in any class or program. Financial aid is determined primarily by merit. Students who believe they have a legitimate reason for being considered as a financial aid candidate are invited to detail their situation in Step 3 of the admission process. Work Study The FranklinSquires Companies, LLC (the parent company of AFU) has a number of paying internship positions with various FranklinSquires portfolio companies. Prospective students may apply for an internship position with FranklinSquires in order to earn partial tuition for AFU classes or programs. Students wanting to be considered for an internship position are invited to detail their motivation and qualifications in Step 3 of the admission process. Students are also invited to indicate any special reasons as to why they should be considered for an internship position.      Back to top
Do I have to pay monthly membership fees?
Yes. Students of AFU must be active members of the Producer Revolution™ and remain current on their monthly membership fees. In addition to the monthly Producer Revolution™ fee, AFU students are required to pay an additional $20 per month activity and support fee.     Back to top
Can my spouse/business partner/friend and I take the course together, paying a single tuition?
American Founders University is committed to the success of family oriented prosperity and wealth. It is a true principle that prosperity for a family or a business is a result of the individual prosperity of its members. Therefore, each student at AFU must be admitted separately on his or her own merit and is responsible for his or her own commitments, including the payment of tuition and fees.     Back to top
How long do the programs take to complete?
AFU offers standard programs consisting of four live one-day workshops. Every workshop in a standard program is followed by 90 days of distance learning. Each standard program is designed to be completed in one year. Students desiring to aggressively complete standard programs may do so at a faster pace depending on class availability. In addition to standard programs, AFU offers non-standard programs and stand alone workshops called Intensives and individual courses. Can I take the programs in any order I want?
The core program at American Founders University is The Fundamentals of Wealth. This program must be taken by all AFU students before or concurrently with all other programs and/or courses. The Fundamentals of Wealth lays a solid foundation for success and is the base on which all other AFU programs and courses are built. Does American Founders University offer Real Estate Training?
American Founders University has a business relationship with the FranklinSquires Real Estate Institute. AFU students may take FranklinSquires Real Estate courses while enrolled at AFU based upon the requirements and prerequisites of those courses. FranklinSquires courses are listed in the AFU course catalog. It is important to note that no business opportunities or business relationships should be inferred or assumed by AFU students enrolling in any course offered by the FranklinSquires Real Estate Institute. All AFU students are bound by the AFU Student Agreement and Code of Conduct. Any agreement between the FranklinSquires Real Estate Institute and an AFU student, during or following the student’s enrollment in any FranklinSquires course, is completely separate from AFU.      Back to top
How are workshops set up?
Each Intensive (workshop) includes eight intensive 50-minute sessions with an hour break at noon for lunch. Intensives are designed to be taken in 90 day intervals. If a student desires to pursue the completion of a program at an accelerated pace, he or she should contact his or her Student Advisor.      Back to top
Should I bring a lunch to the one-day Intensive?
Students typically receive a one hour break for lunch. Students are free to bring their own lunch and eat on campus or visit one of the many restaurants within walking distance. Directions to restaurants will be made available on campus.     Back to top

How does the distance learning work, or what do students do between workshops?
American Founders University has the most advanced distance learning program available in education. Through the AFU Internet Education Network, students from across the country receive both live (teleconferences, live WebEx presentations, direct telephone calls) and recorded training (web videos, DVDs, recorded WebEx presentations, E-Forums, E-tickets, E-mail). Additional instruction, assignments and tests are administered through the AFU Internet Education Network.     Back to top
What happens if I sign up for a program and then cannot attend?
If you contact your Student Advisor at least 72 hours prior to missing a live workshop, you may reschedule the workshop. Students do not receive University credit for missed workshops. In the event of an emergency, please contact your Student Advisor .      Back to top

Who is Glenn Kimber?
Dr. Glenn Jay Kimber is the President of American Founders Academy. He is also a former member of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Brigham Young University. A native of Grouse Creek and Brigham City, Utah, Glenn is the founder of five businesses: KimCo, Inc., Textbook Publishers, Beit-Lehi Tours, Thomas Jefferson Center for Constitutional Studies, and Kimber Academy. His vocations have included serving as a general contractor, a private school owner, school principal and instructor, tour guide to Israel, Executive Vice President of The National Center for Constitutional Studies, author, and lecturer. Dr. Kimber has traveled for over 30 years throughout the U.S. presenting over 1,000 patriotic seminars and conferences on the subjects of American history and the United States Constitution to audiences exceeding one million. Who is Don Sills?
The son of an Oklahoma farmer, Dr. Donald N. Sills has served as a Baptist Minister for over 50 years and has spoken from the pulpit in over 25 countries. He has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs, including several appearances on Phil Donohue Show, Larry King Live, Pat Robertson’s 700 Club, and James Robinson. He has served as President of the Coalition for Religious Freedom in Washington, D.C. (1984-1995), Executive Director for the World Council for Religious Liberty in Geneva Switzerland, and President of Family Entertainment Network based in Texas—a business that has generated $25 million dollars in sales in the field of animated Bible stories. As a teacher and advocate of the American Constitution and the Word of God, Dr. Sills currently serves as the Director of Eagle’s Nest Academy, Manager of World Resource Partners: Hong Kong, Chairman of the Board to George Wythe College, and Director of the Institute for International Educational Development. I was told I’d be given a voucher to transfer from FranklinSquires University to American Founders University. Is that true?
Students who attended FranklinSquires University training during preliminary filming for AFU— workshops held in November and December of 2006—receive a voucher for corresponding coursework at AFU through the FranklinSquires Real Estate Institute. However, such students must still complete the AFU admission process, enroll in the core The Fundamentals of Wealth program, pay tuition related to The Fundamentals of Wealth program and pay AFU student fees.     Back to top
