Please detail your career path since you graduated...
I began working at Channel Nine Perth two months before I finished my degree. I started out as a cadet journalist then later moved into presenting the weather, and in 2005 I read my first news bulletin.

Do you think your degree helped you in your career path?

I believe my degree was essential to me gaining employment at Channel Nine.

What did you think of the staff at Curtin?
I was mentored by some fantastic, knowledgeable and enthusiastic people who had a wealth of experience in the journalism industry. I couldn’t thank them enough for their help. I would like to make particular mention of Russell Bishop and Les Welsh.

Would you recommend the degree to others?
I would definitely recommend the Curtin Journalism degree to budding reporters.
