Lions Finish Strong on Final Day of Big Ten Championships
The Penn State men's swimming and diving team had its best day of the Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday as the Nittany Lions finished strong with their best individual performances of the championships. Pat Schirk finished second in the 200 backstroke and broke his own school record again in the event while the 400 freestyle relay team finished third, just over a second over the NCAA `A' time standard. As a team, Penn State finished eighth with a total of 318 points. Read More >>

Four Advance to Saturday's Finals on Final Day of Big Ten Championships
Four men's swimmers advanced to the final night of finals at the Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday. Pat Schirk and Tim Williams qualified for the 'A' finals of the 200 back and 200 fly, respectively, while both Sean Swanepoel and Vincent Reydams will swim in the 'B' finals of the 100 free. Tonight will be see the 1650 free contested, in which the Nittany Lions have two of the top six seeds in David Kraft and Dito Calderon. Read More >>
