- Full writing of your release from scratch with phone interview and multiple drafts — this costs $229* per release written (*$329 when ordered without a distribution plan).
- Basic rewrite/revision (one draft) of your pre-written press release — this costs $89 per release revised (may only be ordered at same time as a distribution plan).

How Long Does it Take?
We ask for 3 full working days to complete a full press release writing plan. We ask for at least one full working day to perform a revision/rewrite service plan, and this can take longer if we're busy. If trying to meet a specific deadline, please inquire in advance — all writing services will always take at least one working day. Press release writing/editing service pricing does not include distribution of the press release to the media or online.

Send2Press offers press release writing services by our highly skilled team members, who are all active members of professional PR and writing trade industry groups, as well as published authors and contributing editors at national publications.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
- After checkout, you fill out a simple information form with various questions related to what you want to announce as news. We assign one of our writers based on content, then we call you for a brief (no more then 10 minutes) interview.
- From this a first draft is composed and sent by email. Changes, corrections and additions can be made (all changes must be provided in writing), then a second draft is provided. Any additional corrections are made and then the final is provided. Release can be up to 600 words, or will match the length of the news distribution plan ordered at same time (standard length of "Blue" distribution plans is 400 words).
- Allow 2-3 working days (typical) for project completion, depending on your own availability for approvals.
- Once the final is done, you may specify date/time for release to go out. We provide you with both a MS Word and plain text (.txt) final version of your release for your own use. A PDF is also available if you order a news distribution plan at same time as a writing plan.

Service Item #WR-EDIT — $89 per release (one draft).
Service Item #WR-ED2 — $169 per release (two drafts).
If you've written your own press release but feel it might need one more polish — and/or if it's far longer than needed (or longer than the length limit of the news plan you've chosen) — one of our
professional staff writers can rewrite/revise your release to make it more readable and more effective. Allow at least one working day for completion. Includes one hour of editing, and only one draft provided.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
- When you order a news distribution plan, also choose this add-on option: #WR-EDIT ($79).
- Then after "Checkout," submit your news release on the information/project form.
- We then assign a staff writer to review and revise your release. A second editor on our staff will double-check it, then e-mail you "our version" of your news release.
- You may then edit further, and send us your "final," or you can approve as-is. You may choose the distribution date/time once the draft is approved.
NOTE about Editing Service: The "editing/rewrite" service can only be ordered at same time as distribution plan. The "editing/rewrite" service is NOT available for the Silver "Online Only" plan. Service does not include research, interviews, or multiple drafts (except with the "two drafts" service option). If you need more in-depth assistance creating or revising your release, please choose the full writing service and NOT the revision service.
How to Order Writing or Editing Services
To order the writing service, simply go to our Order Center,
then you will see the Writing Services as a drop-down option under section (2) "Choose Services."
To order the "editing/revision" add-on option, you must ALSO order a news distribution service plan. To order, first choose a distribution plan, then go to our Order Center. Add the news distribution plan (either a "Silver" or "Blue" plan level) to your cart, then choose the add-on option, #WR-EDIT, then checkout.
You provide your news release info after checkout is complete, in our "Support Center."
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Press release writing plans do NOT include distribution to the media or placement online. For news distribution to the media, you must ALSO order one of our distribution plans.
