Pre Sales, Devices

You will be responsible for pre-sales of Opera browser in Devices Division, which is in game consoles, net TVs, set top boxes, portable media players and other devices. Opera for Devices is growing rapidly and has brand name customers including Nintendo, Sony, Motorola, Samsung and Archos. More information for Opera for Devices: http:www.opera.com/products/devices/

As Pre Sales person, you will interface with consumer electronics manufacturers and operators, to communicate the Opera value proposition and aggressively drive sales in the US. You will play a key role in expanding Opera Software's customer base, as part of a dynamic and international organization.

Responsibilities

• Responding RFP/RFI
• Answering technical questions to customers
• Researching & prospecting the US market and identifying key players in the Devices field
• Building demo and present Opera solutions to customers

Requirements

• Engineering background is preferable
• BS, MS or PhD in related field
• 5-7 years experience with software sales and delivery, ideally for embedded devices
• Understanding of Web Technologies and Web Browsers
• Fluent English
• Enthusiasm, communication skills and business acumen
