What we offer
Vancouver Film Studios (VFS) is a state-of-the-art production site featuring the finest in sound stages and office space, and outfitted with the latest in technical support. In total there are 13 sound stages, 10 of which are purpose built, mill space and office space. VFS customers enjoy a wide array of top quality facilities and amenities, along with a full complement of production support and services such as lighting and grip, voice and data systems, lifts and equipment, and office equipment. For the added convenience of VFS customers, assigned parking areas are made available to each production.

Presently, VFS comprises 14 buildings with sound stages, office space and mill space. A gym is also located on site.

Location
Ideally situated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Vancouver Film Studios is located 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, 30 minutes from the airport in Richmond, British Columbia and 10 minutes from North Vancouver.

Backlot Services
Pacific Backlot Services (Pacific) provides production support for Vancouver Film Studios. Pacific supplies access to technical services such as telephone and high-speed Internet links, lighting and grip, as well as helipad use, lifts and equipment rentals. Additional services relating to waste, janitorial, and photocopiers are also provided.

Signal Systems
Signal Systems (Signal) is a new division of the Studios which provides communication equipment and services for our film production tenants and any individuals or industries which require Wireless Phones, Radio, Telecommunication, and Satellite equipment.

VFS was first to offer many technology applications in the film industry, such as 10 mpbs Internet service to your desk, IP telephony phone systems and Unified Messaging to name only a few.

Helipad
Productions and potential tenants at Vancouver Film Studios can take advantage of the VFS helipad. This feature is particularly useful for the direct and immediate transportation of VIPs, as well as for scouting trips.
