Connery Takes a Pass
No, Sean Connery will not be coming out of retirement to reprise his role as Indiana Jones' father. In a statement posted to the official Indy website, Connery, who retired in 2005, says he thought "long and hard'' about reprising the role he played in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'' nearly 20 years ago, when he was approximately the age Harrison Ford is now. "I love working with Steven and George, and it goes without saying that it is an honor to have Harrison as my son. But in the end, retirement is just too damned much fun.'' John Hurt in an unspecified role has joined the cast, which includes Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, Roy Winstone and hopefully the still not-officially-announced Karen Allen. Shooting begins June 25 in New Haven, Connecticut.Posted by Lou Lumenick on June 8, 2007 06:49 AM

I guess I don't need the money or the work as I am not interested in being a "third wheel" in another movie thatgoes somewhat like:"been there done that theme".
If you had a movie script that involved a mad professor famous Doctor theme that turned him young again and that this person could re-live the past again, while trying to stop alien beings from invading the earth in 2013, maybe he would consider reading and doing another movie.
Just remember, Michael Douglas saw his future wife play along side him, and then he married her
Catherine Zeta Jones..............Michael realized that he had to have her.
Can't count him out yet, its that nothing good has come along that he cares to think about to do that interests him.....unless you partner hin along side .........that girl in "Scoop" who played in Woody Allen's movie...........now were talking
