Nokia Siemens Networks completes acquisition of subscriber-centric network specialist Apertio
We are pleased to announce that Nokia Siemens Networks has completed its acquisition of Apertio Ltd, the leading provider of open real-time subscriber data platforms and applications built specifically for mobile, fixed, and converged telecommunications operators.
The Apertio team now forms a new business line headed by Apertio CEO Paul Magelli within the Nokia Siemens Networks Converged Core business unit.
Apertio Ltd will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Nokia Siemens Networks, and current legal structures will continue to exist until further notice. We plan to operationally integrate Apertio into Nokia Siemens Networks by the end of 2008.
With Apertio, Nokia Siemens Networks – a leading global enabler of communications services, with worldwide service coverage and professionals supporting the expanded portfolio – will be able to build on its strong position in convergent networks. The addition of Apertio’s market-leading products and services will strengthen its position in subscriber-centric network solutions.
We are confident that as a combined team we will be better able to help you simplify your network, unify all your subscriber and service data on a single platform and drive innovation through access to real-time subscriber profile information. We will also continue to lead the market in the development of a new generation of network applications and deliver additional value to you.
