oct 17: 2006: we'll be at "i rock many styles" ::: 58 gallery's annual art studio kick-off party. there will be works by 13 artists, a fashion show by hala, and playing live are: lismore and trisomy x. It's this friday october 20th, from 7 pm to midnight. we hear the fashion show is for lingerie, but don't quote us on that! it's also all ages and costs nothing... 58 gallery is at @ 58 coles st, jersey city.

sep 25: 2006: we had an awesome birthday party on saturday for penelope at ingrid's new flat. sooper fun!!! during the pary, we filmed a video for cherry bomb with our awesome friends that we'll soon post up here. one take. one try. no cuts. and it came out briliantly, even if we were too hopped up on vino to remember the words... we have a few nj shows coming up. maxwells next wednesday!!! with nj legend-in-the-making tris mccall!!! rock!! we love tris! and kate sikora who sounds awesome! seems like it's time to put a new song up.... we have 17 of them. we can not even wait for y'all to hear them.... especially ingrid's new fave, 'it has come to this" with her bratmobile-influenced shouting, penny's knee high f*ck-you vox, and stephen's nasty guitar lick. did i just say "lick"? rock !!!

feb 08: 2006: just wanted to share the news that lismore is a "featured band" on myspace this month. :) also, and perhaps more importantly, this is to let you know that we haven't fallen off the face of the earth... (not that any of you would ever think such a thing). penelope's back in action from australia. look out for nyc shows and a tour very soon, as well a limited edition lismore 7" vinyl single (atrophy) on cult hero in the near future. we'll let you know how to get it incase you happen to like vinyl. ;) we also have nearly 8 new songs ready to roll for our second full-length that will come out in the summer (or near there). one of them is on our myspace page. the rest are held captive in a secret vault underneath jersey city. -love and xxoo

sep 09: 2004: we will be playing at the jersey city studio tour on saturday, october 2. we play at 2 in the afternoon at 111 first street. should be fun although a little odd considering the 111 situation. also, stephen (lismore) and ingrid (the 303s) will be djing 80s music and whatever else we feel like playing on oct 8 at a club called anatomy in the east village (6th st between ave a+b). from 10pm - 1am

aug 02: 2004: we are getting lots of airplay on college radio right now.. thanks sooo much to all of the stations that are playing us, and if you have any interest in having us come to your station or to play live at a venue near you, please email us! we are gathering dates to do an east coast tour, and possibly a midwest tour both in the fall. The cd will be out soon ..stay tuned for a way to buy the cd before Aug 24th.

jun 30: 2004: thanks to everyone who came out to see us at Rare. it was a great show...and a lot of fun. We have the Planetary Group doing our radio promotions... so listen on your local college radio station for us... the CD is still on track for a mid to late August release.

jun 09: 2004: our cd is in production! the release date is now late august. we are really happy that it comes with amazing artwork on the cover from a brilliant artist named ashley wood. please come to our show in nyc on the 18th. email us if you have any inquiries about it. see you there!

may 10: 2004: Our next show is at rare (used to be called 'the cooler') at 416 w14th street in manhattan on friday june 18 with 'laser guided', 'the economy', and 'the 303s'. please come out because it's a caroline distribution showcase, and the distribution of our cd may depend on it!
