Expert: U.S. in 'recession of choice'

Congress and the Fed missed chances to keep the country from falling into recession by acting too slowly, according to a well-respected economist. CNNMoney.com reports that Lakshman Achuthan, managing director of the Economic Cycle Research Institute, says the economy is in what he calls "a recession of choice." full story
