Strength In Numbers

‘Strength in numbers’ - It’s not just a saying where The Liverpool Fury are concerned with 6 new additions to their coaching staff in the off season.

The 2006 - 2007 season had seen the Fury coached by 4 individuals in the teams first year but through hard work, recruiting and the willingness to work with some less experienced coaches that number has grown to 10 for the 2007-2008 season. The new coaches seeing the talent and potential at the Fury have jumped at the chance to help develop it.

Try Outs Set To Be A Big Success

After a very successful recruitment campaign that saw the Fury receive interest from over 300 at JMU's freshers fayre their first session of the year is set to be a big success. Even though they have been dubbed 'try outs' they are all but that, with some basic skills and drills set to be conducted in the session to introduce new players to the game.

 

 

Fury Head Coach Goes Back To School

Fury Head Coach Joe Black recently had the oppotunity to be a guest coachat the NFL's Junior Player Development camp in Chester. The JPD camps are organised by the NFL’s Simon Newnham in conjunction with local clubs, and are designed to attract new players to the sport. The week long event featured a coaching staff led by British professional players from NFL Europa working along side local coaches from the Chester Romans.
