Full season for Tina Fey's '30 Rock'

NBC has picked up Tina Fey comedy 30 Rock for a full season, the network announced Friday.

The series, which also stars Alec Baldwin (Will & Grace) and Tracy Morgan (SNL), follows Fey's character as the head writer on a fast-paced live TV show.

Latest ratings figures show a 25% increase in the 18-49 demo in its new, post-Scrubs slot on Thursday night.

NBC president Kevin Reilly said that the network had "the goods" with 30 Rock, adding that it was "right on-brand for our Thursday-night comedy block."

The network has now picked up all but two of its freshman series for full seasons: only the cancelled Kidnapped and the struggling comedy 20 Good Years have failed to make the grade.
