Here are the weekly TV ratings, by number of viewers.
OK, OK, so we know that American Idol grabbed the top two slots again (get used to it). But I'm getting a little tired of putting a picture of AI on this post each and every week. Not because of any dislike for the show, but because it's the same old thing every week. So, above is a picture from the number 15 show, The New Adventures of Old Christine.
1. American Idol - Tues (FOX)
2. American Idol - Weds (FOX)
4. Lost (ABC)
5. Extreme Makeover (ABC)
6. Law and Order (NBC)
7. Two and a Half Men (CBS)
8. Deal Or No Deal - Mon (NBC)
9. 60 Minutes (CBS)
10. CSI (CBS)
11. Moment of Truth (FOX)
12: CSI: Miami (CBS)
13. Deal Or No Deal - Weds (NBC)
14. Without A Trace (CBS)
15. Old Christine (CBS)
16. Oprah's Big Give (ABC)
17. Law and Order: SVU (NBC)
18. Medium (NBC)
19. Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? (FOX)
20. New Amsterdam (FOX)

i view it as a small victory that there was only one quiz/game show in the top 10

What do you consider American Idol and Extreme Makeover? Both of these shows need to be booted out of the top 10 before any victory can be declared.

Wow, I'm suprised and pleased for both Lost and Survivor. I'm still a big fan of both. And Medium in the top 20 has to be good. I thought I read before the new ones started that it wasn't doing too well before. It's a well written show &, although I haven't been as keen on the newer eps ( the one with the Prez from 24 was pretty good), I'm really glad it's back. Even the off-eps are better than most of the other scripted dramas on the tube (CSI Miami, how can anyone watch that, there isn't one likeable character on there, from the little bits I've seen & Caruso's horrible acting just makes me cringe, even just seeing him in ads for the show). But, I guess I'm in the minority because it continues to do well. I do like Christine, I wouldn't say it's the greatest sitcom ever, but it's enjoyable.
