Travel Of Aaron Miller To Middle East

Question: Will Aaron Miller travel to the Middle East?

Answer: Mr. Miller departed for the region on August 9 to join Deputy Assistant Secretary Satterfield for meetings with Israeli and Palestinian officials. The purpose of the travel is to assist Ambassador Satterfield in urging the parties to take the steps necessary to implement the Mitchell Committee recommendations as quickly as possible.
