3D with Direct Animation

Description

This animation is made up of 3-D objects imported from .X files and animated using DirectAnimation. The objects are rendered as a windowless control on top of HTML text. If your computer has DirectX Foundation version 6.x installed on it, then you should also see the geometries casting shadows on the text. You will see two sets of shadows, corresponding to the two lights shinning on the geometries. You can still select text below the animated objects. Left-click on an object to change its color and start it spinning. Click again to stop it. One of the cubes assumes a time-varying color. Right-click to switch between a perspective and a parallel view.
