SportsNation Andy Glockner: Hi everyone. Sorry I'm a couple mins late. The podcast taping was delayed. Give me a minute and we'll get going...

SportsNation Andy Glockner: OK, I'm ready to answer the 400 questions about why Arizona is ahead of ASU and Oregon, along with the handful of other things in the queue. Let's do this...

Tony, Grand Island NE: Andy -- With all the banter about the "majors" being hurt by last night's fiasco, doesn't last night really hurt the Mountain West? It appeared they might me a solid three-bid leauge, but a New Mexico, UNLV semi in the tournament could be a play-in game.

SportsNation Andy Glockner: Yeah, any team in a de facto "elimination game" in conference play wasn't helped by the bubble shrinking by one and maybe two bids last night. There's less room to finesse a scenario like a three-bid MWC. There's also less wiggle room for teams like Arizona and Texas A&M; and others to lose their first tourney games and still feel completely safe.
