Exporting from New Zealand


New Zealand is a member of a number of conventions designed to control the movement of hazardous waste around the world and ensure they are disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. The Ministry of Economic Development (MED) administers applications for exports covered by these conventions in New Zealand and ensures compliance with the convention requirements.

    Export Year 2007 is a partnership between government and industry aimed at increasing long-term export performance.
  • Exporting Hazardous Waste
