We've been looking for the perfect area rug for more than 4 years. We think we may have found it in this auto rickshaw rug by Indian fashion designer Manish Arora. None of this fading-into-the-background or blending-in-with-the-decor nonsense. This 5-by-8 wool rug demands your attention and becomes the focal point of the room, thanks to all the vibrant colors and shapes. Distributed exclusively through The Conran Shop. We can't wait until Arora starts doing housewares too.

The Canon EOS Rebel XSi, first announced back in January, has finally hit stores. The $900 entry-level dSLR is the fastest Rebel to date, with 3.5 frames-per-second shooting for up to 53 JPEGs. Other specs include a 12.2-megapixel sensor, a 9-point user-selectable autofocus system, a 3" display, and, according to the CNET review, better image quality than both the (more affordable) Sony Alpha DSLR-A200 and the Nikon D60. See all digital SLR cameras.

CNET says the new Sony Walkmans are "the best-sounding, best-looking" ones yet, and that the included EX-style earphones "put Apple's white iPod earbuds to shame." Available in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB, these music/photo/video players have a 2.4" screen, impressive battery life, and support MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, and DRM-protected subscription music files. The only things missing are FM radio, voice recording, and memory expansion capability, but we don't listen to the radio, can't stand the sound of our own voices, and can get along nicely with 16GB of storage.

Nixon's new Groove watch might not be the best choice for the office, but it's certainly a fun alternative for evenings and weekends, or when you don't want to wear your fancy Movado to the playground with the kids. The case and bezel are made out of stainless steel, while the strap is made out of polyurethane. Choose yellow/grey, grey/pink, black/black, black/white, or purple/white. $75 from Amazon. More Nixon watches for men and women.

If your Nintendo Wii sits right in front of your TV, you don't need Nyko's wireless sensor bar. But if you've got your big screen TV mounted on the wall, or a complicated home theater set-up, it might come in handy. The $20 sensor bar gives you full Wii remote functionality up to 25 feet away, without having to deal with a tangled rat's nest of cords. It's easy to set up (no hardware or software installation on the Wii required) and 4 (included!) AA batteries last for 30 hours. More Wii accessories.
