From kilo 174.400 to kilo 188.000 with length of 12.600 km

 

 

Other lines include : a) Dammam Sea Port Line, and b) other branch lines used by some companies. 

 Line For King Abdulaziz Port at Dammam

The weight of rail for this line is 100 – 109 – 115 pounds per yard, with a length of 12,854 km. The rails are fastened to wooden sleepers by screw spikes.

Meeting Points, Stowage Areas and Freight Yard:

These points consist of rail weighting 54 and 80 pounds per yard, with a total length of 372,195 km. It is worth mentioning that all diversions systems on the Main Line No. 1 are of 60 pounds (UIC) weight and those attached to the meeting points also weigh 60 pounds (UIC).

Some diversions on the Main Line No. 2 weigh 100 pounds (Area 1/11) and similarly on the stowage areas and freight yards (Area 1/8), but rarely in (Area 1/7).
